My name is Keegan and I am crazy. And photography and writing are made of win.

I use a Pentax K100D, although it's technically my mom's camera. Hopefully I'll get my own within the next year, because I don't think she'll let me take it to college.

I also use Photoshop 6.0 for all my editing needs.

And to everyone that ever faves something of mine or comments or watches me: I am immensely greatful. I don't do thank you's or anything, but you should know that I DO appreciate it and I try to make sure to at least LOOK at your gallery.

I want some pumpkin bread. [EDIT]

Sat Nov 21, 2009, 2:03 PM
Doesn't that sound really good right now? It does.

I have a few more pics I want to upload, plus a bunch of stuff from my art class. We did screen printing this past week. I didn't have a t-shirt to print on (and I dunno if my design would've even looked good on a t-shirt), but I did a bunch of prints on paper. I'll have to scan them and post the best one. As for the pics, I'm in the process of editing and I might take some more this evening before it gets too dark out. And it gts dark really early now. So I'd give myself... 2 hours at the most.

In other, but still photography related news, I've been screwing around with the way I edit photos. I mentioned it in my newest deviation, but now I'm mentioning it here. I'm planning on reading a bunch of good tutorials and picking out the bits and pieces I like best, and then combining those bits and pieces with how I normally would edit photos. You may or may not be able to tell the difference, but who cares? I'm exctied!

In other, non-phtography related news, I got new contacts. Well, two new pairs. Apparently my old contacts were completely wrong. I new the prescription was wrong, but apparently EVERYTHING was wrong. I have a slight astigmatism (sp?), so my lenses were weighted. Apparently they were weighted wrong. And so basically the eye doctor guy decided it'd be easiest to just start from scrath. So now I have two new pairs of contacts and I gotta decide which pair is the best/most comfortable. And he thinks if I find the right pair, I'll actually end up wearing my contacts on a regular basis. UM, RIGHT. I like my glasses. I like how I look in glasses. I've freaking had glasses since I was 3. Contacts are pretty much for dance only. ALTHOUGH. With contacts, that might help me come up with more creative ways to do self-portraits and try out different ideas and such. Who knows? Maybe I will end up liking contacts after all.

I'ma go see how cold/warm it is outside. Depending on how cold it is, that could change my photo ideas. I mean, I plan on taking photos outside anyways, because natural light is so much better than the crappy light I have in the house, but yeah. One of the ideas I have might not be as fun if it's too cold.

And now to finally go get my slice of pumpkin bread,
Keegan <3

EDIT
Holy frak. Too cold for both the ideas. I got a handful of pics for the one, and I could've gotten some for the other idea, but where I wanted to take the pics, the neighbors that were outside had a perfect view of me. When it's just me, I feel awkward knowing people could be watching me take pictures. And either way, my feet would've frozen. And my arms. And just in general, I would've gotten way too cold.

BLOARG. Maybe a different time? Or maybe I'll just have to modify the concepts...
